In Every Adversity “In every adversity is the seed of greater or equal opportunity.” This quote by Norman Vincent Peale can make a difference in how we perceive our situations every day. Look for the equal or greater opportunity in every situation. It is there. Believe it. Seek and you shall find. Knock and the door will be open to you. Riches Lie Inside You, Not In Material Possessions Wealth without enjoyment is little consolation. Your real prosperity lies in being thankful. Your real riches are riches of the head and heart. Satisfaction comes from appreciating what you have. Success is getting what you want. Happiness is wanting what you get. It’s not how much you have, it’s how much you enjoy. You Are What You Repeatedly Do First you make your habits, and then your habits make you. You become a slave to your constantly repeated acts. What at first you choose, at last compels. Your habits are either the best of servants or the worst of masters. Your thoughts lead you on to a purpose, your purposes go forth in action. Your actions form your habits. Your habits determine your character, and your character fixes your destiny. Once in motion, a pattern stays in motion. A Good System Shortens The Road To A Goal Having an intelligent plan is your first step to success. With a plan, you know where you’re going. You’ll know what progress you’re making. And you’ll have a pretty good idea of when you can expect to arrive. Meticulous planning will enable everything you do to appear spontaneous to other people. Your goals can only be reached through the vehicle of a plan. One in which you fervently believe, and upon which you will vigorously act. There is no other route to success. What do you want to achieve or avoid? The answers to these questions are your objectives. How do you go about achieving your desired results? The answer to this will be your strategy. A good plan permits you to frame your life so that at some time in the future fact and your dreams will meet. Success or failure is often determined on the drawing board. Today Is The Time For Action You must be ready when opportunity comes before you. Luck is the time when your preparation and opportunity meet. There is a tide in your affairs, which, when taken at the flood, will lead you on to fortune and success. By the law of periodical repetition, everything which has happened once must happen again and again and again, not capriciously, but at regular periods, and each thing in it’s own period, and each obeying its own law. As events tend to repeat themselves, the tide of opportunity will come to you. Be prepared and your chance for success is sure to come. Look around you. Seize an opportunity to change your life. You can change chance into good fortune if you are ready. The only sure thing about your luck is that it will change. All Success Starts With A Beginning Everyone who got where they are had to begin where they were. There are opportunities all around you. To reach your goal or to attain success, you don’t need to know all of the answers in advance. But you do need to have a clear idea of your goal. Don’t procrastinate when faced with difficult problems. Break those problems into parts and handle one part at a time. Develop tendencies toward action. Break your big plan into small steps and take the first step right away. You can make something happen, right now. A journey of a thousand miles begins with one step. Take it. You Can See The Future With A Vision Study your present situation thoroughly. Go over in your imagination the various courses of action possible to you. Visualize the consequences which can follow from each course. Pick out the course which gives you the most promise and go ahead. Many successful people use this skill of mental visualization. They mentally run through important events before they happen. Picture yourself in your minds eye as already having achieved your goal. See yourself doing the things you’ll be doing when you’ve reached your goal. You can put your subconscious to work toward making your mental pictures come true. Go over your day in your imagination before you begin it. You can begin acting successfully at any moment. See the things you want as already yours. Think of them as yours, as already in your possession. You can live your dreams. Business Motivation – April 25, 2011

You Can, Because You Think You Can Believe in yourself. Know in your heart, that you can do the job you’ve set out to do. Your dreams will come true, if you have the desire to pursue them. You’re never given a wish without also being given the power to make it come true. The achievement of your goal is assured the moment you commit yourself to it. Everything is possible, if you believe it’s possible. It’s your mind that sets your limits. What you envision you can do, you can do. Start thinking of yourself as a success and success will follow. Success is a state of mind. You have the power, if you have the desire. (Reprinted with permission, Sam Maitz, Director of Marketing Technology, Leadership Management® International, Inc.)

Business Motivation – April 20, 2011

Success Is The Result Of Well Directed Energy The first rule of success, and one that supersedes all others, is to have energy. It’s important to know how to concentrate it. Focus your energy on important matters instead of frittering it away on meaningless things. Nothing will add more power to your life then concentrating all your energies on a limited set of goals. You must focus the full power of all you are on what you have a burning desire to achieve if you truly want to be successful. Gather in your resources, rally all your faculties, marshall all your energies, focus all your capacities upon attaining your objectives. You must be single minded, and drive for the things you have decided upon. The sun’s rays do not burn until brought to a focus. Opportunity Lies In The Midst Of Difficulty Every problem has hidden in it an opportunity so powerful that it literally dwarfs the problem. The greatest success stories were created by people who recognized a problem and turned it into an opportunity. You’ll find that every situation, properly perceived, offers opportunity. As fast as each opportunity presents itself, use it. No matter how tiny an opportunity it may be, use it. You’ll find new directions when you have an open mind and a willing hand. Successful people didn’t achieve their distinction by having some new talent or opportunity presented to them. They developed an opportunity that was at hand. You must make your own opportunities if you want success. Opportunities are all around you. Open your eyes and take action.
