Select Your Environment With Care Your own positive energy will compel things to turn out the way you desire when you’re surrounded by positive people. Your environment is your mental feeding ground from which the food that goes into your mind is extracted. Choose your environment with care, one that is positive, one that lifts you up and gives you wings to soar. Create favorable conditions through your association with others. Avoid people who belittle your ambition. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great. We shape our buildings, thereafter they shape us. It’s your friends that make your world. (Reprinted with permission, Sam Maitz, Director of Marketing Technology, Leadership Management® International, Inc.)

Find The Good Side To Every Situation You cannot have the success you seek without some failures too. Any experience can be transformed into something of value. Everything depends on the way you look at things. What appear to be stumbling blocks and defeat before you can be stepping stones to victory if you remain determined. In all of your adversities lies the seeds of equivalent advantages. In every defeat there is a lesson showing you how to win the next time. View your problems as opportunities. When it’s dark enough you can see the stars. (Reprinted with permission, Sam Maitz, Director of Marketing Technology, Leadership Management® International, Inc.)

Who Do You Work For? A common misconception of many is thinking they work for someone else. We may choose to be employed somewhere but the reality is we reality all work for our own goals. Some people give up their right to a bright future by not setting goals for where they want to go. They let others set their goals for them. It doesn’t matter where you are in life as much as where you are going. Do something today that will take you closer to your goals. And remember, what you do in life is not as important as why you do it. (Reprinted with permission, Sam Maitz, Director of Marketing Technology, Leadership Management® International, Inc.)

Wanting To Win Is Key Success is connected with continuous action. It’s largely a matter of hanging on after others have let go. You’re not finished when you’re defeated, you’re only finished when you quit. The most important quality essential to success is perseverance. It overcomes almost everything, even nature. You can have a fresh start any time you choose, for “failure” is not in the falling down, but in the staying down. It’s not over until it’s over. If you’ve got the courage to stick it out, you’ll attain your goal. Winning isn’t everything, but wanting to is. Success Requires Courage The goals and dreams we seek require courage and risk-taking. Have the courage to take just a little more risk every day, but never risk more than you are willing to lose. Remember that all we ever get in life are results. Not always the result we wanted, but still, results. Thomas Edison didn’t fail over 500 times. He succeeded in finding over 500 different ways a light bulb would not work. On your road to achieving your goals we can learn from a valuable lesson from the turtle. A turtle only make progress when it sticks its neck out. (Reprinted with permission, Sam Maitz, Director of Marketing Technology, Leadership Management® International, Inc.)

Business Motivation – November 15, 2010

Never Say Never There is no such thing as no chance. Don’t think about the things you can’t do. Think about the things you can do. No matter what the level of your ability is, you have more potential than you can ever develop in a lifetime. You have powers you never dreamed of. You can do things you never thought you could do. There are no limitations to what you can do except the limitations of your own mind. Your range of available choices right now is limitless. Look at things as they can be. Business Motivation – November 12, 2010

Don’t Be Afraid To Take Risks You can live your dreams if you can embrace change. It’s by taking chances that you’ll learn how to be brave. You’re different from everyone else on the planet and that makes you very special. Only you know what is best for you. Your life can slip through your fingers if you live in the past or the future. Live your life with passion every day and you’ll truly live all the days of your life. Remember where you have been and know where you are going. Life is not a race, but a journey to be savored each step of the way. You can have anything you want from life if you are willing to work for it. You owe it to yourself to go for it. You Are What You Repeatedly Do The beginning of a habit is like an invisible thread. Every time you repeat the act you strengthen the strand. You add to it another filament with each repetition, until it becomes a great cable and binds you irrevocably to each thought and act. First you make your habits and then they make you. Your thoughts lead you to your purpose. Your purpose always manifests into action. Your actions form your habits. Your habits determine your character, and your character fixes your destiny. Your habits are either the best of servants or the worst of masters. (Reprinted with permission, Sam Maitz, Director of Marketing Technology, Leadership Management® International, Inc.)

Business Motivation – November 8, 2010

You Must Pay A Price For Success Whatever you want in life, you must give up something to get it. The greater the value, the greater the sacrifice required of you. There’s a price to pay if you want to make things better, and a price you’ll pay for just leaving things as they are. Nothing worthwhile comes easily to anyone. Work, continuous work and hard work, is the only way to accomplish results that last. Don’t let the fear of change stop you from pursuing your dreams. There is no success at bargain basement prices. The highway to success is a toll road. (Reprinted with permission, Sam Maitz, Director of Marketing Technology, Leadership Management® International, Inc.)

Service Is The Essence Of Success All successful people became successful because they gave some talent or ability in the service of others. You can contribute in some way to others no matter how small your talent. You too, can become successful. No one achieves success without being of service. Leadership is action, not position. The successful don’t use others, other people use the successful, for above all success is of service. Everyone has to be someone to someone to be anyone.
