Select Your Environment With Care Your own positive energy will compel things to turn out the way you desire when you’re surrounded by positive people. Your environment is your mental feeding ground from which the food that goes into your mind is extracted. Choose your environment with care, one that is positive, one that lifts you up and gives you wings to soar. Create favorable conditions through your association with others. Avoid people who belittle your ambition. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great. We shape our buildings, thereafter they shape us. Who Do You Work For? A common misconception of many is thinking they work for someone else. We may choose to be employed somewhere but the reality is we reality all work for our own goals. Success Requires Courage The goals and dreams we seek require courage and risk-taking. Have the courage to take just a little more risk every day, but never risk more than you are willing to lose. Remember that all we ever get in life are results. Not always the result we wanted, but still, results. Thomas Edison didn’t fail over 500 times. He succeeded in finding over 500 different ways a light bulb would not work. On your road to achieving your goals we can learn from a valuable lesson from the turtle.
