Business Motivation – September 03, 2010

Your Future Is A Big Adventure Prepare for your future, don’t live in the past. Savor your good memories, and use any bad ones as lessons in life. You need to focus on your future not on your past. Carve out a niche for yourself in your imagined future. Think, feel and see yourself as successful. To achieve any goal in life, you need to project your end result. Think of the elation, the satisfaction, the joy you’ll feel when you reach your goal. Carry these ecstatic feelings with you every day and they’ll bring your desired goals into view. Sooner or later, you can win, if you think you can. The cards you are dealt in life are less important than the way you play them. Everyday you’re offered a new deal and new cards. Success is out there for you. Don’t wait for it to come to you, go out and find it. There Is No Such Thing As No Chance Don’t think about the things you can’t do. Think about the things you can do. No matter what the level of your ability is, you have more potential than you can ever develop in a lifetime. You have powers you never dreamed of. You can do things you never thought you could do. There are no limitations to what you can do except the limitations of your own mind. Your range of available choices right now is limitless. Look at things as they can be. Never say never. You Are What You Do The beginning of a habit is like an invisible thread. Every time you repeat the act you strengthen the strand. You add to it another filament with each repetition, until it becomes a great cable and binds you irrevocably to each thought and act. First you make your habits and then they make you. Your thoughts lead you to your purpose. Your purpose always manifests into action. Your actions form your habits. Your habits determine your character, and your character fixes your destiny. Your habits are either the best of servants or the worst of masters. (Reprinted with permission, Sam Maitz, Director of Marketing Technology, Leadership Management® International, Inc.)

The Highway To Success Is A Toll Road Whatever you want in life, you must give up something to get it. The greater the value, the greater the sacrifice required of you. There’s a price to pay if you want to make things better, and a price you’ll pay for just leaving things as they are. Nothing worthwhile comes easily to anyone. Work, continuous work and hard work, is the only way to accomplish results that last. Don’t let the fear of change stop you from pursuing your dreams. There is no success at bargain basement prices. You must pay a price for success. (Reprinted with permission, Sam Maitz, Director of Marketing Technology, Leadership Management® International, Inc.)

Business Motivation – August 23, 2010

Every Failure Is A Step Closer To Success People who try to do something and fail are infinitely better than those who try to do nothing and succeed. Experiencing failure is inevitable on your journey to be successful. Every defeat is merely an installment to victory. You’ll find that the number of times you succeed is in direct proportion to the number of times you fail and keep trying. You won’t be judged by the number of times you fail, but by the number of times you succeed. Failure is nothing but education, nothing but the first step to something better. You can’t be a winner and be afraid to lose. (Reprinted with permission, Sam Maitz, Director of Marketing Technology, Leadership Management® International, Inc.)

The Secret To Confidence Is Preparation There can be no great courage when there is no confidence or assurance. Half the battle is in the conviction that you can accomplish what you undertake. With practice you’ll come to a point of competence in anything. You’ll find yourself accomplishing your goals with grace and confidence. It’s then that you’ll do things that you never dreamed you could do. You’ll discover powers you never knew existed. Confidence doesn’t come out of nowhere. It’s the result of constant work and dedication. If you’re prepared, you’re able to feel confident. Do The Next Thing Keeping a little ahead of conditions is one of the secrets of business. The time to repair your roof is when the sun is shining. Do things before they need to be done. Let your advance worrying become advance thinking and planning. Position yourself ahead of time in the best place for you. You’ll gain the advantage in any situation through the medium of time. When you think ahead of any approaching action you’ll always have the advantage. You’ll be the winner. When you do what is necessary, all the odds are in your favor to attain the success you seek. Progress Begins One Step At A Time There is no sudden leap to greatness. Your success lies in doing day by day. Your upward reach will come from working well and carefully. Good work done little by little becomes great work. The house of success is built brick by brick. Adopt the pace of nature.  The secret is patience. A bottle fills drop by drop. It’s Never Over Until It’s Over The power to hold on in spite of everything, to endure, this is the quality of a winner. Your greatest glory is not in never failing, but in rising every time you fail. It’s your constant and determined effort that will eventually break down all resistance and sweep all the barriers before you. Persistence means taking pains to overcome every obstacle, to do all that’s necessary to reach your goal. All great achievements require time. Endurance is the crowning quality of success. You Must Have A Dream To Make It Come True Advance confidently in the direction of your dreams, and strive to live the life you imagine, and you’ll meet with success. The only way to discover the limits of what is possible for you is to go beyond those limits into the impossible. Far away there in the sunshine are your highest goals and aspirations. Believe that you can reach them, look up and see their beauty, believe in them, and follow where they lead. You are the one who can stretch your own horizon.
